Know the common triggers
Most asthma flare-ups start with something in the environment. Recognising your own pattern is the single most useful thing you can do.
Sit upright, take one puff of the reliever every 30–60 seconds up to 10 puffs, and call emergency services if there is no improvement after 10 puffs.
